Yojoa Lake -Semana Santa (Holy Week in Honduras)

We walked with a guide on a path to a pool of water (middle left side) and swam across to hike into the falls. At the bottom (your left) we hugged the wall to walk behind falls and came across a cave. The thundering water and sheer magnitude of the water falls right infront of us

was an unbelievable experience. On the way back Sharon jumped twenty feet off a cliff into a pool of water.

This is the river we swam in afterwards. Only 100 yards away is the 200 foot falls.

This is the resort we stayed at for three days during Semana Santa (Holy Week in Honduras).

As you can see, the scenery was spectacular!
